| We spoke to Tom Barry, with the City of Weymouth, who gave a tip for residents that are planning a home renovating or remodeling project. Tom told us that a popular project is adding a second level to a home. A common problem that he sees is that contracts between homeowners and contractors are not always properly drafted. This can result in problems as the job progresses. Make sure that you and your contractor have clear communication. Also, homeowners are not always aware that adding a second level to their home will increase their property taxes |
